Imported Sunglasses in Pakistan: How to Choose a Pair

Sunglasses are the easiest accessory to get right and the easiest to get wrong, and it usually comes down to two things: the width of the frame and where it sits on your face.

Start with width, not shape

A frame should be roughly as wide as your face at its widest point — no wider. Frames that overhang the sides are the most common mistake, and no amount of the right shape fixes it.

Then the shape

• Round face — rectangle or square frames. Angles balance curves.
• Square or strong jaw — oval or rounded frames soften it.
• Long face — a taller frame breaks up the length. Avoid very narrow ones.
• Oval face — most shapes work. Choose on preference rather than rules.

Rimless frames are the quiet option — they take up the least visual space, so they suit almost everyone and go with almost everything.

Lens colour actually matters

Grey lenses keep colours looking natural, which is why they are the safest choice. Brown and amber lift contrast, which is useful in bright glare. Very dark lenses are not automatically better — what protects your eyes is UV filtering, not darkness. A dark lens with no UV filter is worse than no sunglasses at all, because your pupils open wider behind it.

Where they sit

Good sunglasses rest on the bridge of your nose, not on your cheeks. If they touch your cheeks when you smile, they will slide down all day and mark your face.

Buying online in Pakistan

You cannot try them on, so use a photograph of yourself rather than a mirror memory. Hold your phone at arm's length, look straight ahead, and compare the frame width in the product photo to the width of your own face.

Check whether a case is included — an imported pair without a case will be scratched inside a month at the bottom of a bag. Ours all come with one.
